At DIMI ART, every digital work is offered under one of two licensing formats.
Understanding these options helps you choose what best fits your needs while fully respecting the artist’s rights and intention.

1. AUTHOR-RIGHTS WORK (UNIQUE PIECE)

This is a unique digital edition, sold only once.
Once purchased, the artwork is marked as SOLD and permanently removed from public sale.

The buyer receives:

  • A high-resolution RGB JPG for personal print or display
  • A professional CMYK TIF prepared for fine art printing
  • The DIMI_ART_PrintGuide.jpg, which includes technical details for accurate color reproduction (including spectral intensity, electric tones, and fluo intent)

The artist retains all commercial and moral rights.
The buyer may use the files for personal purposes only (e.g., printing, display).
Any commercial, editorial, or public use requires a separate written agreement.

2. DIGITAL COPY WITHOUT AUTHOR RIGHTS

This version is a non-exclusive, downloadable copy, available in unlimited quantities.
It is optimized for screen display or decorative print, and represents the original artwork in a visually faithful, reduced-resolution format.

  • No rights are transferred
  • Not intended for resale or public reproduction
  • Ideal for digital use or small-scale personal print
  • Saved in sRGB, maintaining mood and tone — though not full printing fidelity

File Usage & General Print Recommendations

  • Files are delivered in JPG format at 72 dpi, optimized for flexibility.

  • Ideal print quality is achieved at 300 dpi for small to medium formats.

  • Larger prints at 150 dpi are possible without significant quality loss, depending on viewing distance.

  • Printing below 150 dpi is not recommended, as visual clarity may be affected.

  • For optimal print quality, always match the print size with the resolution provided in the file you purchase.

  • For full-resolution files and extended usage rights, please select the version with author rights included.
