Earth is Gold, and Gold becomes Earth. We tear it from the depths with effort and sacrifice, only to bury it again in vaults and bunkers, under guard, like a forbidden treasure. In this work, the earth unfolds in living layers, carrying within it the latent energy of the hidden metal. Beyond, a dark, cold, and isolated zone stands as a sanctuary of accumulation. The pictorial gestures oscillate between revelation and concealment: scratches and breathing light covered by dense, opaque surfaces. Forms and colors fold back into each other, without beginning or end, in an absurd cycle where extraction and burial merge. It is a critique of imposed value — a reflection on how we prize, hide, and transform resources, creating tensions and conflicts around what could simply remain where it is.
